The minimums below work well today. But AI models are advancing fast — larger context windows, long-term memory, multi-modal processing, and local vision models all benefit significantly from more RAM. We recommend 32GB RAM or more for a setup that will comfortably handle everything coming in 2026 and beyond. We’ll advise you on the best spec for your budget and use case during the quote process.

Each plan includes a monthly cloud AI credit: Home = £10, Business = £30. Routes to Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite (tool routing) or Claude Sonnet (complex documents) — automatically, based on what your query needs. Local Qwen 3 handles the majority of queries at zero per-message cost. Cloud credit covers tool-calling skills. Overage above the included credit is billed at provider cost + 30% transparent markup via direct debit. Monthly cap available — device falls back to local model automatically if approached.

Common questions
Optionally, cloud routing can be configured to use Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini for tasks that benefit from frontier models (complex document analysis, advanced reasoning). Cloud API usage is billed at provider cost + 30% transparent markup. API calls are encrypted in transit and are not used to train models. You can run local-only, cloud-augmented, or fully hybrid.
